Apr 18, 1998: -- Dolphins Trade First Round Pick --
JJ has pulled the trigger early today and before the draft has
even started, has traded the Dolphins' first round draft pick for the
Green Bay Packers first and second round picks. That gives the
Dolphin the number 29 pick in the first round and the number 60 pick
overall, which will be at the end of the second round.
My Comments:
I doubt that Jason Peter will be around at the #29 spot, so I
see the Dolphins taking John Avery with their first pick. I guess
this means that JJ has given up on getting one of the top 10 or so
players.
